Still working on this deck of ours...

Alex and I spent Thanksgiving at my parents' house.  And this little fella is nothing but trouble!  He is a massive kitty and loves to play
He was getting irritated with me because I woke him up
This is the current state of our deck.  Almost done!  I know I've been saying that for months but it takes a lot of work when it's mostly just 2 people
We got the balusters up today; tomorrow we will finish the railings for the stairs
This is the view from the back corner of the deck, facing the house.  Last thing will be the pergola but there's no real time constraints for that

The only shopping I did on Black Friday was Home Depot and I bought a new washer and dryer for an awesome price! They will be delivered in 2 weeks

Corrine and Shelly

This weekend I got to shoot Corrine and Shelly for their engagement photos!

Corrine is a work friend

They were so much fun!

Such a fun-loving couple

And silly too!

Beautiful!  Congrats, you two.  Thanks for having me there!

So we finally have shutters, after a month of waiting!  The house is done; except for the painting of the porch.  It looks a lot less naked now!

And here is the before picture

I love fall

Fall on GMU's campus is spectacular!
And Annie has made a new friend!  My relatively new office mate has made quite an impression on Annie

Perhaps bribing her with treats didn't hurt either ;-)  Looks like she'll be keeping someone elses' lap warm as well

Engagement sesh

This weekend I had a great engagement session with 2 coworkers and friends of mine from Mason
We totally rode the carousel on the mall!
They are such an easy couple to shoot.  If you remember, I was at the Jefferson Memorial to capture Scott's proposal to Colleen several months ago

After a few spots in DC, we moved on to Old Town Alexandria
It was just a perfect day!

 And a lovely ring shot!
Thanks to Scott and Colleen for having me there!

New name

So, as it turns out, Verizon charges you money to be unlisted.  Alex and I recently signed up for FiOs and it allows you to choose an alias for your listing so we decided to put the most ridiculous name we've ever heard of!  It sure didn't take long for Verizon to start selling our information!  This came in the mail today and a few days ago I got a call asking for "Mrs. McIroncock".  C'mon now!

Sure is amusing though!
