Super busy weekend!

Alex and I spent our 5th wedding anniversary celebrating at The Inn at Little Washington
 It was a spectacular meal
They even made everything gluten-free for me!  This was Osetra caviar with peekytoe crab and cucumber rillette.  It was paired with Jean-Pierre Legret, Talus-Saint-Prix from Champagne, France.

This was truffle dusted popcorn!  Amazing
After the 11 course dinner, we decided we hadn't had quite enough and ordered the "Seven Deadly Sins"
 Massive bar of after-dinner drinks

We even got to check out the kitchen and meet the chef, Patrick O'Connell
This is prosciutto-wrapped veal loin with garden fennel three ways; paired with Shane Wine Cellars Syrah from Anderson Valley California (2009).
This is a seared New England day boat scallop with summer vegetables and creamy garlic grits; paired with Vinedos de Ithaca, Garnatxa Vlanca from Priorat, Spain (2011).
 Here's the caviar again
A shot of everyone busy in the kitchen
I don't actually remember what this little appetizer was, but it was tasty!
 Us before dinner

Port outside our room for us to enjoy
 Coffee this morning

The amazing view in the backyard

 Breakfast this morning

Oh yeah, they customized the menu for us and let us keep it :-)

THEN, we had an engagement party to go to today so I baked 62 mini cupcakes on Friday
 they turned out pretty cute

I made the little flower on top; it's a marshmallow fondant I made and dusted with edible glitter and then topped with an edible pearl
I drizzled some with dark chocolate raspberry

My cat wanted to see what I was up to
