Nice, France

We arrived in Nice by high speed train, the TGV.  It was a wonderful ride!  We were happy to arrive in warmer temperatures as Paris was cold and rainy.  It was cloudy upon arrival but didn't actually rain
 The water was incredible!

We only had one full day in Nice so we didn't get to do much.  We discovered a local market that had everything from sun-dried products to flowers to spices

There were probably 100 different spices!
 the buildings are beautiful
Happy to be in the sunshine!

The alleyways in Old Town Nice are fascinating
We had lunch at this local spot called Nissa Socca, known for its great Nicois food!  It was fantastic.  Alex had ratatoille that was phenomenal and I had four cheese ravioli that was equally amazing.  Easily one of the best meals we had on our trip

Dinner at La Table Alizari; a family owned restaurant.  The owner didn't speak much English but was gracious enough to explain the menu to use as best possible (the menu is never the same).  Another wonderful meal and very memorable
The coastline is gorgeous at night!  Sadly, we had to leave the next day.  I would definitely return to Nice
